Tories to give 6 Million Dollars to Planned Parenthood

Given the "redneck, devout christian and out of touch with reality" portrayal of Conservatives by the media, it is surprising to find out that, yes, 6 million of our tax payers dollars are going to fund Planned Parenthood. Though "surprising" , it was even more surprising when I got e-mails at work from canadians sharing their discontent with this decision while I had not read one email expressing support that yes the Conservatives can be "progressive too". So while all the lefties are constantly painting Tories as regressive and against women's rights, let's be real here : some MPs are  strongly against this decision, but the governement has decided to listen to reason as well as the masses. This is democracy. For every mistake the Conservatives have made, thousands are willing to flog them. For every advancement they make, no one seems to applaud them.
